The Córdoba IUA Regional University Center , an agency of the Argentine Air Force, belonging to the National Defense University – UNDEF, was created on December 13, 1947 under the name of the School of Aeronautical Engineering and integrated into the National University System in 1971. The fundamental objective of the IUA is to provide university education , carry out scientific and technological research , as well as actions of cultural extension and technology transfer , contributing to the fulfillment of the mission of the Argentine Air Force, in accordance with the aerospace interests of Argentina. the nation. It currently has the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Administration Sciences , in which 9 undergraduate courses , 8 undergraduate courses and an interesting proposal for graduates in master's degrees and specializations are taught . The academic quality of engineering careers is based on personalized education through classes in small groups, allowing access to modernly equipped laboratories and workshops for the practical application of the knowledge covered in the different disciplines. The incorporation of the Distance Education modality in 1987 for the careers of the Faculty of Administration Sciences, gives the IUA a new profile by bringing the university closer to the most remote places in Argentina and the world. Having research as one of its fundamental pillars, the IUA develops technological projects in various areas, and promotes various research and transfer cooperation agreements with other universities and public and private institutions.
