Africa Renewal University (AfRU) is licensed by the Government of Uganda through Uganda National Council of Higher Education. The University is existed to train leaders for the transformation of church and society. AfRU is located in a beautiful and green environment in Buloba (20 kilometres from Kampala) on Mityana Road. Though situated in Uganda, the AfRU’s family comprises of different nationalities. The staff and students of the University come from many countries, including Kenya, South Sudan, Sudan, Rwanda, Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ghana, Nigeria, Eritrea, USA, UK and Australia. The diverse cultures on campus have enhanced students and staff in their cross-cultural engagements. We commit ourselves to develop a new generation of Christian leaders whose lives are transformed by rigorous study of Scripture, impassioned love for God, and faithful service to the nations as the body of Christ.
