Descriptions

The mission of Auburn University at Montgomery is to provide quality and diverse educational opportunities at the undergraduate and graduate levels through use of traditional and electronic delivery systems, and to foster and support an environment conducive to teaching, research, scholarship, and collaboration with government agencies, our community, and other educational institutions. Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM) is recognized by U.S. News and World Report, as well as, The Princeton Review as one of the best colleges in the Southeast. What else do we have going for us? AUM offers a close-knit community; designed for only 7,000 students. Nearly half of the classes at AUM include 20 or fewer students, so your professors are likely to know you by name. AUM is your first stop for a career that matters. You’ll get a personalized, real-world learning experience in one of our five colleges — either on our wooded, 600-acre campus, in an online setting or through a blend of both. We celebrate our diverse student body. Our close-knit campus community includes students of all ages, abilities, cultures and backgrounds. Our students come from all over the world! We have award-winning faculty members. U.S. News & World Report ranked AUM No. 22 among regional universities in the South for the quality of undergraduate teaching. We think a high-quality education should be affordable. Nearly 40 percent of our students earn scholarship assistance, including scholarships for freshmen, transfer students, international students, and veterans and their dependents.
