CAECE University is a higher education institution with more than 50 years of experience with outstanding academic quality in the training of future professionals. Since its origins, all its careers have been oriented towards global challenges linked to innovation, science and technology. The University began its academic activity in April 1967, its founders being the Bosch brothers: Jorge: Mathematician and Epistemologist, Horacio: Physicist and Mathematician, Carlos: Engineer. His first careers were the Bachelor of Mathematics and the Bachelor of Computer Science , the latter being the first of its kind created in the country. In 1978, CAECE University obtained definitive recognition from the Ministry of Culture and Education. At that time it worked in two buildings: one on Solís street and the other on Belgrano avenue and that same year, it incorporated the Bachelor's degrees in Biological Sciences and Pedagogical Sciences. Then, in 1982, the University moved to the building at Avenida de Mayo 1400, which was its headquarters for 18 years. With the purpose of extending the academic service to other important cities in the country, in 1993 an academic collaboration agreement was signed with the Mar del Plata Stock Exchange Foundation and in 1996 the activities of the CAECE Mar del Plata headquarters began. . In April 1996, the building at Avenida de Mayo 866 , CABA, current Headquarters, was incorporated, in 2016 construction work began on a new building on the same land on Hipólito Yrigoyen street, expanding the capacity of classrooms, incorporating laboratories of New Technologies, Urban Ecology, Biology and spaces for academic training and research such as the Gesell Chamber, where different types of exchange for learning are generated.
