The college was, however recognized in 1966 by the Nurses and Midwives Council of Malawi as a health training institution. Ekwendeni College of Health Sciences is under the proprietorship of the CCAP Synod of Livingstonia. It exists to provide training of Health professionals within Christian Principles and Values. The College invites applicants to pursue a Program in Nursing and Midwifery Technician which will be run for a period of 3 years.
