Fourah Bay College is a state funded college in the area of Mount Aureol in Freetown, Sierra Leone. Established on 18 February 1827, is the most established college in West Africa and the main western-style college worked in West Africa. It is a constituent school of the University of Sierra Leone and was some time ago associated with Durham University (1876-1967).
