MBI was founded by enterprising professional as a private business skills training institutions in 1993 with prime objectives of providing quality and pertinent business education that instills confidence to the graduates and puts them at a competitive advantage in the labour market. The guiding philosophy of the founding members was that “private initiatives should take up the role of enterprising in education and the wider social service sector so as to relieve the government of this burden and restrict it to the role of policy guidance and monitoring”.
