Mohammed VI University of Health Sciences is a semi-public educational institution under construction in Casablanca, which will host the activities of its university in 2017, currently in temporary premises since its opening in October 2014. The project represents a Investment of MAD 465 million and supports collaboration between Moroccan ministries of education and health. The new 31,000m2 site, next to the Sheikh Khalifa Ibn Zaid Hospital in the Casablanca district of Hassani, is dedicated to being a health platform between Europe and Africa. It will bring together scholarly research and teaching in several fields (medicine, public health, sector management, nursing, biomedical engineering).
