The Protestant University in Congo (UPC) is a Protestant university educational institution. It was created in 1959 on the initiative of the Protestant Church in Congo (Church of Christ in Congo) and enjoys civil personality. The Protestant University in Congo provides courses in accordance with the programs recognized by the Ministry of Higher and University Education. However, the UPC has added some courses of an ethical and theological nature. As such, it confers academic degrees (graduate, licensee, doctor)
