Ramapo College emphasizes teaching and individual attention to all students. We promote diversity, inclusiveness, sustainability, student engagement and community involvement. Ramapo College, which was named among CondeNast Traveler’s 50 most beautiful campuses in the country, offers bachelor’s degrees in the arts, business, humanities, social sciences and the sciences, as well as in professional studies, which include business, elementary education, nursing and social work. In fall 2021, the College will launch its newest graduate program, a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Music Technology, the only one of its kind in New Jersey. In fall 2020, the College welcomed the first student cohorts in both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in data science, one of only two higher education institutions in New Jersey to offer both programs. The College offers articulated programs, including dental, optometry, pharmacy, chiropractic and health professions, as well as visual arts therapy and law, in conjunction with colleges and institutions in New Jersey and New York. Additionally, Ramapo has established innovative partnerships with several community colleges in New Jersey, including an innovative 3+1 program with Passaic County Community College to allow students a more affordable path to a bachelor’s degree. Undergraduate students may choose to concentrate their studies in one of five schools with more than 40 academic programs. Ramapo College boasts an average student/faculty ratio of 16:1 and an average class size of 21, affording students the opportunity to develop close ties to the College’s exceptional faculty. New course offerings beginning in the 2021-2022 academic year include a minor in Climate Change, Policy & Action. A new major in Neuroscience is awaiting state approval.
