Founded in 1958, the Regional Maritime University is one of the oldest maritime universities in Africa and boasts a rich and proud history. Our courses are developed in collaboration with industry and government bodies, placing our highly skilled graduates in high demand across the globe. We are ISO certified and globally recognised as being a centre for excellence. Our specialist teaching, learning and research facilities are internationally acclaimed and are utilised by government bodies and maritime-related businesses world-wide. We are a tertiary institution with diplomatic status located in Accra – Ghana and a branch of the World Maritime University, Founded by the Republics of Ghana, Cameroon, The Gambia, Liberia and Sierra Leone.
