Established in 2010, Université Privée de Ouagadougou (Private University of Ouagadougou) is a for-profit private higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Ouagadougou (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Kadiogo. Officially recognized by the Ministère de l’Enseignement supérieur, de la Recherche scientifique et de l’Innovation, Burkina Faso (Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation of Burkina Faso), Université Privée de Ouagadougou (UPO) is a coeducational Burkinabe higher education institution.
