The ENS of Marrakech was created in September 1979 by Ministerial Decree No. 2.78-455 of 28 September 1978 (like its counterparts in Rabat, Casablanca, Fez, Meknes, Tetouan). These schools, which were under the authority of the government Secondary education institutions have been training institutions for senior managers for the training and further training of upper secondary teachers in order to meet national educational needs through the establishment of a Educational policy based on the Moroccanisation of teachers of upper secondary education (Secondary qualification).
