The Ahmed Zabaneh University was created for the first time as a university center under the executive decree n ° 08-206 of July 06, 2008, composed of four institutes: - Institute of legal and administrative sciences - Institute of Social and Human Sciences - Institute of Economic and Commercial Sciences - Institute of Letters and Languages to be modified after that by Executive Decree n ° 13-330 of September 30, 2013, which includes the creation of two new institutes: - Institute of sciences and technologies - Institute of exact sciences, natural sciences and life, In order to change the name in accordance with Ministerial Resolution No. 01/14 of 23 October 2014: “Ahmed Zabana University Center”. In 2020, the Ahmed Zabana University Center was restructured to become a university in accordance with Executive Decree No. 20-339 of November 22, 2020, which includes the creation of the University of Relizane to include five faculties, namely: Faculty of Science and Technology Faculty of Law Faculty of Social and Human Sciences Faculty of Economics, Business and Management Faculty of Letters and Languages
